About Us
Founded in 1988, Logo Rugs quickly became a leader in comprehensive product development services for the
carpet and rug industry. For over twelve years, Logo Rugs provided custom services from small-width tufting machines that
duplicated the patterns and designs of the production equipment in the carpet industry.
In the late 1990s, Logo Rugs purchased a 2.2 meter Tapistron CYP machine and created Logo Rugs. The consolidations of
carpet mills all across the industry encouraged us to change our line of business from sample production to what we are
today. For the past several years Logo Rugs has been changing from a service company to an aggressive manufacturing and
marketing business. Through our NASCAR line and our newly introduced College and Golf collections,
Logo Rugs is well on its way to achieving that goal.
How our products are made
Using state-of-the-art technology, each rug and mat is beautifully crafted by tufting the design all the way through to the back, rather than simply printing or gluing the design to the surface. Each product is made with a tough, durable construction that performs extremely well in commercial areas, or for use at home.
The tufting technology used to make these products has the unique ability to tuft numbers or letters without the waste created by other types of tufting machinery. Thus, the products produced on this machine are well suited for corporate or brand logos, sport identities as well as intricate pattern designs. All of our rugs are made with solution dyed yarn and have a minimum pile height of ¼ inch.
This patented process incorporates an innovative technology for computerized yarn placement, whereby up to six colors and/or types of yarn per needle are electromechanically selected, placed into position within the machine's unique needle configuration then injected into primary backing as directed by a computer utilizing proprietary software. While the machine's needle bar is stationary from side to side, the primary backing can be shifted laterally as it is fed through the machine, enabling it to produce products with more tufts per square inch (resulting in greater density) than any other machanical method currently available.
Using this advanced technology, Logo Rugs designers have complete versatility in styling and construction of tufted rugs and mats. Used in conjunction with a CAD/CAM pattern entry system, designers can reproduce almost any scanned image, or pattern, into tufted products that can incorporate a wide range of colors, textures, luster levels, and wear characteristics.
Some product styles have standard carpet backing, while other styles have a vinyl backing. Each product's edge is bound for a professional finish. A number of rugs have hand-carved features to enhance the design.
